Major field of study
Biological Sciences
Innovative achievements in life sciences, such as the interpretation of the human genome and development of innovative cancer and aging-related disease treatments, have advanced and established many modern scientific and industrial sectors. This highlights the importance and key leading aspects of life sciences and its research fields.
Life sciences and its related fields require an interdisciplinary approach as they are based on solid knowledge stemming from a variety of scientific areas, from molecular cell biology to anatomy and physiology and from microbiology to biochemistry and biophysics. As such, we seek students who are passionate about science, have a exploratory heart, and are willing to push boundaries by incorporating new ideas that are inherently challenging and creative.
